Experience the avian fauna on the back roads of the boreal forest. We will depart early in the morning from our meeting location and travel by car caravan or van upwards of 50-75 miles as we pick our way through the birding hotspots of the north woods. This is your chance to add common loons, boreal chickadees, three-toed woodpeckers, Northern hawk owls, great grey owls, bald eagles, various shorebirds along Lake Superior, waterfowl, and upwards of 20 different species of warblers. The time of year makes a big difference, so give us a call and we will let you know what is around and help you plan your trip. This trip can be custom designed for beginners or experts.
Trip includes: spotting scope, binoculars, field guides and reference books.
Lunch can be provided for an additional cost.
