The boreal forest region of Northeastern Minnesota and shorelines of Lake Superior offer some of the best birding in North America, offering visitors the opportunity to see some unique species of the boreal region as well as common birds of the upper Midwest.  As an avid birdwatcher for over 25 years the Fall hawk migration is one of awe and wonder, as are the unique birds of the National Forest.  We offer custom trips of all sorts year-round with pick-up and drop-off at your lodging facilities.  We will travel by van to several hotspots in a day of fun birding for the families, individuals, couples, small groups, from beginner to expert.  I provide the binoculars, spotting scope, lunch, beverages, and field guides.  These trips often are 8-12 hour days with many stops in and out of the van, but again we can customize it for whatever your wishes are.
